1/22/07 - "What I Wouldn't Give" featured on MTV

The Holly Brook song "What I Wouldn't Give" from her album "Like Blood Like Honey" is featured in the MTV show "The Hills", a new reality series from MTV. "The Hills" is the continuation of the hit reality series "Laguna Beach." The kids have graduated from high school and some of them have moved to the Hollywood Hills. Look for it on MTV. (episode #201)

1/5/07 - "Happily N'Ever After"

For the younger fans, Holly Brook is featured in the song "Get What I Want" in the new feature film "Happily N'Ever After" in theaters now. Made by the producers of "Shrek", this animated off-beat version of Cinderella (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is for all ages.

12/21/06 - Contest!!! Win a signed Holly Brook CD!

12/17/06 - Hollyday Update

Holly is now off tour for the holidays and enjoying some time at home. It's been quite a year for the 20 year old singer/songwriter. 2006 was the year of Holly's first album release "Like Blood Like Honey" along with multiple US and Australian tours. She had appearances on TRL, The Tonight Show and numerous radio interviews. The world first heard her velvety vocals featured on the mega hit "Where'd You Go" with Fort Minor. Holly's Myspace has now exceeded half a million views and will hit forty thousand friends by the new year. Here's to 2007 being even better!!!

8/2/06 - Holly Set Review from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer

A leading Seattle newspaper, the Post-Intelligencer, included the following review of Holly's set during the Daniel Powter show Monday, July 31:

...With light, airy vocals reminiscent of Dido and a simple, sophisticated piano style in the Sarah McLachlan tradition, she displayed a broad songwriting talent as lyrical as it was melodic. Although there was not a hip-hop bone in her body, she had the courage to perform Mike Shinoda's rap from ["Where'd You Go"], the Fort Minor song to which she contributed backing vocals. Brook also played a mean dulcimer on an intelligent cover of Joni Mitchell's "All I Want" and acoustic guitar on "Saturdays," a song she wrote on a Thursday.

More tour dates have been confirmed for Holly Brook January. Jan 9, 2006 - Monterey Live, Monterey CA Show begins at 8:10pm. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Monterey Live at info@montereylive.net or (831) 646-1415. Show is 21 and over only. Jan 10, 2006 - Make-Out Room, San Francisco, CA. Holly's set begins at 10:15pm (other sets start at 8:15pm). Cover is $6.00. 21 and over only. Jan 11, 2006 - The Attic, Santa Cruz, CA Doors open at 7pm, show begins at 8:15pm. When asked about the guest artists on Fort Minor's The Rising Tied, Mike says: "One other person who is very important to this album is a girl named Holly Brook. She sings on one of the tracks on the album called "Where'd You Go," and it's definitely a highlight. She has the voice of an angel. You can put Holly in a room with a guitar or piano and she'll sing absolute perfection. When I first saw her perform, I didn't believe it, I thought there had to be some production element I wasn't seeing. But as it turns out, she's the real deal."
